The incumbent will be a member of the Global Information Cyber Security Technology Team.  As a member of this team, the incumbent will lead the delivery of endpoint security technologies  to the enterprise and participate in the design of the next generation endpoint security strategy.  The incumbent will be responsible for understanding and conveying business requirements, technical requirements, establishing capability roadmaps, and working with a project manager to develop and execute project charters.  In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for learning and navigating the enterprise, establishing credibility with  stakeholders, and negotiating delivery of capabilities to various lines of business.  The incumbent will be responsible for providing periodic project updates and delivering status presentations to senior leadership.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Broad knowledge of information security principles
  • Enterprise endpoint security experience, to include workstations, midrange servers, and IOT devices
  • Experience leading the delivery of enterprise security capabilities via a formalized systems development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with authoring key SDLC documents, such as test plans, requirements documents, and runbooks
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be comfortable in delivering messages across a wide spectrum of individuals having varying degrees of technical understanding
  • Strong analytical skills/problem solving/conceptual thinking
  • Ability to work independently on initiatives with little oversight
  • Motivated and willing to learn
  • Must be able to manage people

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Experience with deploying Tanium to an enterprise
  • Experience with developing an enterprise endpoint security strategy
  • Understanding of project management fundamentals

Enterprise Role Overview:

Directs and controls the activities of a significant part of information security staff in the development, implementation, communication, monitoring and maintenance of the information security policies and procedures. Responsible for the development and implementation of security standards, procedures, and guidelines. Participates in the establishment of the corporation’s information security policy. Provides state of the art technical expertise and support to client and IT management and staff in risk assessment and the implementation of appropriate data security procedures and products. Oversees execution of security controls to prevent hackers from infiltrating company information or jeopardizing e-commerce programs. Researches attempted efforts to compromise security protocols. Helps set security policies to control access to systems and maintains the company’s firewall. Provides information to management regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information. Manages the reporting, investigation and resolution of data security incidents. Maintains contact with industry security standard setting groups, and an awareness of State and Federal legislation and regulations pertaining to information security. Provides general direction to and review of managers in various areas and/or operations. Erroneous decisions will have a serious impact on the overall success of functional, division, or company operations.Typically 7-10 years of experience, including people management responsibility.
